The Claridge Hotel Announces Miss America Partnership
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (September 3, 2014) – The Claridge Hotel is excited to announce its official partnership of the 2014 Miss America Pageant. This partnership will bring some of Miss Americas’ favorite events right to this iconic Atlantic City hotel and will feature the annual “Forever Miss America Meet and Greet” autograph session with thirty-two former Miss Americas. This event will be free and open to the public.

This is a wonderful event for fans to see their favorite Miss America throughout the decades, up close and personal. We hope it will create Miss America memories to treasure – and this autograph session is open to the public,” stated Sharon Pearce, President of the Miss America Organization.
To kick off this exciting week, The Claridge Hotel will feature prime Miss America Parade seating on the Boardwalk in front of the Claridge Hotel and Brighton Park. The parade is Saturday, September 13th at 5:00pm. Seating starts at 3:00pm and tickets can be purchased for $22.50 at The Claridge Box Office 609-348-0031 or online through Ticketmaster www.ticketmaster.com.
Following the long-time favorite “Show us your Shoes” Parade, The Claridge Hotel will host the official Forever Miss America Meet and Greet on Sunday, September 14th from 10:00am to 11:30am. This event will feature thirty-two former Miss Americas that span 8 decades, beginning with Bebe Shopp, Miss America 1948, and Lee Meriwether, Miss America 1955, all the way to Mallory Hagan, Miss America 2013. The meet and greet will be held in The Claridge Hotel Ballroom. Attendees will be able to mingle and have their pictures taken with their favorite Miss Americas.
